This also highlights the broader potential of Mini Apps—with over 100 available and over 250 million opens in early 2025.
World Chat is currently available in Beta on World App.

World Chat combines the Contacts tab, the World ID protocol and the World App wallet to enable features and functions that make World Chat incredibly useful.
Users can easily identoify when they are chatting with a real human
Chats with verified World ID holders feature a blue chat bubble as well as a unique World ID gem in the upper right corner. Conversations with non-verified accounts feature a grey chat bubble without any gem.
World Chat is integrated with the World App wallet. This enables users to send and receive crypto to anyone.
World Chat Leverages Full Potential of Mini Apps and World Network
Mini Apps gives World Chat instant access to over 25 million World App users and 11 million verified humans.
There are now over 100 Mini Apps available, and there were more than 250 million Mini App opens during Jan 2025 – Feb 2025. During this period, World Chain was regularly maintaining the highest UOPS/TPS ratio of any Ethereum blockchain. This indicates that World Chain is mostly comprised of real humans using apps and not bots.
Using World’s SDKs, Mini App developers can leverage the power of the World ID protocol, the World App wallet (now with over 275 million total transactions) and Contacts to easily integrate proof of human and digital finance into their applications and services, opening up a wealth of new opportunities for builders.
Developers can also now incorporate World Chat into their Mini App, so that their users can easily invite and chat with their friends without ever leaving World App.
World Build To accelerate Mini App Innovation
To accelerate Mini App innovation, World Build is helping builders create new experiences using proof of human tech.
World and FWB, the premiere culture DAO, teamed up with Alchemy, Bain Crypto Capital, Blockchain Capital and Variant Fund to launch World Build.
The program kicked off in January and runs until May 2025. It offers an opportunity for builders to combine the power of Mini Apps and the distribution of World Network with hands-on support and mentorship.
Over 150 builders participated in the global hackathon in February, with 12 teams from the hackathon selected to attend an immersive build retreat in Buenos Aires to bring their Mini App ideas to life, from payments and ticketing to wellness and AI.
