Singapore, March 31, 2022 / AlexaBlockchain/ – As crypto attacks continue to occur on a far-too-often basis, DeFi insurance has become a need for those within the industry. InsurAce.io is happy to confirm that the scheduled first batch of the v2 release has been successfully implemented and users now have more options to protect their assets against violations.
This initial release is expected to be a catalyst for the mass implementation of insurance for crypto users. InsurAce.io launched on the mainnet in April 2021 and this news marks almost 1 year of success and development. Since launching on Ethereum, the multi-chain protocol followed by developing onto BNB Chain, Avalanche and Polygon shortly after. The extraordinary growth of the protocol has seen InsurAce.io protecting 130+ protocols across 19+ public chains with a total of $280m TVC (Total Value Covered) as of March 2022.
This release marks the continuation of positive development for the protocol. Since the new year, InsurAce.io has announced successful applications to receive development grants.
Harmony, NEAR, Aurora and Polygon (via Questbook) have all confirmed the awarding of development grants for building on their networks. Binance also confirmed InsurAce.io were successfully incubated into their BNB Chain MVB (Most Valuable Builder) program. These recent events reaffirm the faith that major blockchain organizations have in the insurance protocol.
Along with this, InsurAce.io has stuck to its roadmap commitment of increased marketing efforts. The team has divided and conquered and have teamed up with various partners, particularly Hacken, Harmony and Balancer to create safe environments to co-work and network during major conferences. Most recently with ETH Denver, Ethereum RIO and the Avalanche Summit in Barcelona.
This latest v2 release has seen the launch of the first batch of major upgrades. New products such as aggregators, cover cancellation, dynamic pricing and a public API key went live on Wednesday 30th March 2022. More information can be found here. Further upgrades will be released in due course.
