Belgian Blockchain Consulting Firm Block0 expands its involvement in the Tezos ecosystem by becoming a corporate baker. It is now the first Tezos corporate baker in Belgium.

Founded in 2017, Block0 was the first Walloon software company entirely dedicated to blockchain and decentralized solutions. Its main clients are players in the energy, agri-food, logistics and software development sectors, for which it develops document traceability tools and systems related to identity.
Block0 is also active in research and development, with recurring support from the European Union through several European grants and awards for the quality of its developments and its innovation in the field of traceability supported by IoT and blockchain, and delivery of documents by delegation.
Block0’s role as a Tezos baker
Block0 has expanded its involvement in the Tezos ecosystem and blockchain by becoming a corporate baker. As a corporate baker, Block0 will now validate transactions (blocks) and add them to the Tezos blockchain.
Block0 is now part of a growing list of corporate bakers on Tezos which includes Rocket Launchpad, Smartlink, Ubisoft, Wakam, Exaion EDF Group, Taurus, Sword Group, The Blockchain Group, and Nisbah Capital.

So far, Tezos has undergone seven network updates without any hard fork. The more frequent updates resulted in reducing gas fees by 70%, improving token standards, and increasing transaction speed.
