LONDON, July 19, 2022 / AlexaBlockchain/ – Bally on the Block, a unique NFT art project that celebrates UK grime music, has announced that it will be giving away a free comic book to all NFT holders who mint in phases 1 and 2. The comic series, titled The Adventures of Blaze, will take readers on a journey through the grimy streets of urban London, telling the story of the balaclava-masked hero, Blaze.
There will be 777 comics released in total, with one comic per phase 1 and 2 NFT. Most of the comics will be in black and white, but there will be a few pieces with a coloured cover, and even fewer fully coloured editions to watch out for. The comic will be issued as a free airdrop to anybody who mints in phase 1 and 2.
Bally on the Block’s second phase mint is now live on their website, with 527 new NFTs ready to mint.
There are 7,777 NFTs in the entire Bally on the Block collection, meaning that those who miss out on a phase 1 or 2 NFT will have to purchase a comic from other Bally holders on the secondary market later on.
The man leading the design of the comic is Nodnarb, collection co-creator and artist.
Nodnarb said:
“As a digital art project, we spent ages toying with the idea of creating a comic for NFT holders. Comics are powerful tools for artists to convey a story, because the task is ultimately to tell as much of the story as you can through art and color rather than words.”
