United States, November 8, 2023 / AlexaBlockchain/ – On November 8th, vechain, an enterprise-grade L1 public blockchain launched a new Learn 2 Earn program designed exclusively for Coinbase users. The new program comes following the listing of vechain’s native tokens VET and VTHO on crypto exchange Coinbase earlier this year and will allow users to earn rewards in VET as they learn about vechain’s sustainable blockchain ecosystem.
What: The Learn 2 Earn program comprises a simplified and advanced version and users can participate in either or both programs, bringing their total reward potential to $12 in VET per user. VeWorld, vechain’s recently launched wallet, is integrating Coinbase Pay so users can buy, sell, and receive VET directly in their wallet.
- Simple Learn consists of two educational quizzes, each of which rewards users with $1 in VET if they answer each quiz’s questions correctly.
- Advanced Learn requires users to download and interact with VeWorld, after which they explore applications in the vechain ecosystem. Users can earn $10 for completion of this program.
To varying degrees, both versions will teach users about the network’s Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus mechanism, twin token model economics, and governance. The program will also provide information on vechain’s recently published, third whitepaper entitled “Web3 for Better,” co-authored with global consulting giant, BCG. Finally, users will be able to learn more about the real-world enterprise use cases currently running on vechain.

The Learn 2 Earn program closely follows the successful completion of vechain’s hackathon at Harvard, hosted in partnership with Web3 educational mobile app, EasyA, and global consulting firm, Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The results of which further showcase vechain’s efforts to promote Web3 education and sustainability.
