The Verses
The Verses is a new digital collectible card game being developed on Tezos Blockchain. The game is being developed by legendary artists that created digital art for blockbusters like “Suicide Squad” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and art for the legendary collectible card game “Magic The Gathering”.
In collaboration with Interpop, the Verses daily NFT drops and auctions will launch on January 18th.
Free to play
More information will be released soon, but the game will be free to play. This means that you don’t need to have your own collection of cards.
All you need is a Tezos wallet and a phone or computer with internet access. A single game will take about 10 minutes and will be played with a deck of 25 cards.
Verses will take the best of deck-building and strategic gameplay from current generation games like Magic and Hearthstone, combine them with the geographic games like Scrabble or Go, and take TCGs to the next level!
Verses NFT drops
Starting the 18th this month, over the course of the following 365 days there will be new art pieces dropped every day on MinterPop.com.
Each day, the bold and ingenious explorers from the Para Initiative will break into different realities and discover new pieces of art and the stories behind them.
Images the Para Initiative finds, many by legendary gaming artists, will be auctioned off at MinterPop.com. Original art, signed limited editions, and cards for use in the Verses trading card game will be available on Earth Prime.
Scarcity levels are:
– Foundation Edition (1/1)
– Signature Edition (1/100)
– Universal editions
The special editions will be collectors items.
The Verses
The playing cards are designed by six different Verses: Fantasia, Synthex, Kaleidoscope, Gloom, Commedia, and Proxima.
Every piece of art and story the Para Initiative discovers belongs to one of these Verses. TCG cards will have powers and utility based on their own story and the Verse they come from.
More information on gameplay and utility will be revealed in the course of 2022. Launch is planned after the NFT drops have concluded, which will be in the beginning of 2023.
