MANTRA Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain specializing in the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), today launched the MANTRA Ecosystem Fund (MEF), a $108,888,888 initiative aimed at accelerating the growth and adoption of projects within its ecosystem.
This strategic move follows MANTRA’s recent acquisition of a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), positioning it as the first DeFi platform to achieve such a milestone.
The MEF plans to deploy the fund over the next four years, targeting high-potential blockchain projects globally. Investment opportunities will be sourced through MANTRA’s extensive partner network, which includes prominent entities such as Laser Digital, Shorooq Partners, Brevan Howard Digital, and Three Point Capital. This collaborative approach aims to provide startups with not only financial backing but also strategic support from renowned investment firms.

MANTRA has been proactive in establishing significant partnerships to bolster its position in the RWA tokenization sector. In January 2025, the company entered a $1 billion agreement with DAMAC Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning real estate development, hospitality, and data centers. This partnership aims to tokenize DAMAC’s assets, making them available on the MANTRA Chain and enhancing transparency and accessibility for investors.
Last year, MANTRA partnered with Libre, a platform focused on bringing private markets on-chain, to expand access to tokenized assets. Libre’s partnerships with asset managers like Hamilton Lane and BlackRock align with MANTRA’s vision of bridging traditional finance and decentralized platforms.
Gideon Daitz, partner at Three Point Capital, will lead the MANTRA Ecosystem Fund.
