Greenville, SC, United States, May 08, 2022 / AlexaBlockchain/ – A new NFT collection has just dropped and if you’re a musician who has been considering getting into the NFT art collecting world, this might be a good opportunity.
Artist and designer Dale Atkinson has designed the art for several pedals by boutique pedal maker Bardic Audio Devices and has created a series of NFTs based on the graphics for all of the pedals.
As the official graphic art created by the artist offered in form of an NFT, this is the first ever NFT series of its kind. The series includes the popular HM-Demon distortion pedal, which has had four limited edition color variations at time of press, with more in the works, as well as the Thunderclap Bass Preamp Distortion Pedal, and Advantage Dirty Boost.
NFTs of the pedal art are exclusively being created for pedals that have actually been produced and are, or were, available for purchase. This is a contrast to the common practice of creating hundreds or thousands of images with slight variations in order to create an abundance of similar pieces.
Atkinson, working under the nom de guerre Hollownaut, said:
“The NFT landscape is awash with collections of cartoon animals and pixel doodles with thousands of negligible variations, and it’s cool that people are into that, but I’d like to see it also be a space for more unique, limited collections and fine art as well. There should be room for NFT art that is prized for its uniqueness, rather than its ubiquity. There’s only one Mona Lisa, after all.”
More NFTs in this series will be produced as more pedals and other gear is designed and produced. Each unique official graphic has an accompanying NFT image of the pedal itself available in multiples of ten.
The NFTs are available at OpenSea.io/hollownaut.
