The purchase was made through the ARK Cryptocurrency US Fund LLC, thanks to $20 million raised by 12 investors.

Kellen Carter, Chief Compliance Officer of Ark Invest said that the ARK Cryptocurrency US Fund LLC requires a minimum investment of one million dollars.

Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood has been bullish on bitcoin for some time. In fact, after the recent bitcoin price crash, she stated that the price of bitcoin is likely to rise.
