Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has partnered with OnRamp Money, a crypto payment solutions provider. This partnership aims to facilitate seamless conversions between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.
Through this integration, Bitget users gain access to a plethora of options to buy and sell cryptocurrencies using various local currencies. The collaboration streamlines the process of converting fiat to crypto and vice versa, offering users a hassle-free experience.
Notably, users can leverage payment methods such as UPI, IMPS, bank transfers, and VietQR to transact in INR, NGN, AED, MXN, and VND, respectively.
The introduction of a zero-fee offer for all cryptocurrencies further sweetens the deal for Bitget users. This move, coupled with the existing zero-fee offer for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), aims to incentivize more individuals to explore the realm of digital currencies.
By eliminating fees associated with traditional banking channels, Bitget endeavors to foster inclusivity and accessibility within the crypto sphere.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director at Bitget, expressed the company’s commitment to advancing crypto adoption on a global scale. “At Bitget, we’re dedicated to enhancing our platform’s capabilities, particularly in facilitating fiat-to-crypto conversions,” stated Chen. “This integration marks a significant stride towards our mission of democratizing crypto trading worldwide.”
The collaboration with OnRamp follows Bitget’s earlier initiatives aimed at enhancing crypto accessibility through fiat. In March, Bitget Wallet, Asia’s premier Web3 wallet, integrated with Onmeta, a leading fiat on and off-ramp solution. This integration expanded the gateway for users to purchase cryptocurrencies using local fiat currencies, covering a wide array of major blockchains and tokens.
Last month, Onramp Money secured seed funding from FunFair Ventures.
