Among these features is the optimization of storage, which sees a remarkable reduction in disk storage requirements from 50 GB to a more efficient size. One of the standout features of the upgrade is the introduction of a Stake Delegation Trial Period, allowing users to withdraw rewards while the initial stake remains locked during the trial period. Moreover, the protocol upgrade facilitates stake delegation, enabling collaboration for stake funding and proportional distribution of rewards and stake amounts among contributors. In addition to these groundbreaking features, the protocol upgrade introduces Space Rental for Workers on Nodes, allowing node runners to rent out free space on their nodes for additional workers.
