Tezos witnessed a massive 262% increase in the number of contract calls compared to the previous month, with 5,958 new smart contracts deployment
United States, May 2, 2021 /AlexaBlockchain/ – Tezos has reached a new all-time high (ATH) for the number of smart contracts-related transactions on its platform over a month period.
- According to data on Better Call Dev (BCD), the number of smart contract calls made on the Tezos blockchain for April 2021 reached 1,318,685 for the first time. This represents a massive 262% increase in the number of contract calls compared to the previous month.
- The total number of contract calls stands at 2,375,914 till May 2, 2021.
- The current milestone also coincides with the highest number of new smart contracts deployed on the network in a month with 5,958 deployments in April 2021.
- The number of new projects deployed on Tezos has seen a significant increase since January 2021.
- Tezos is amongst one of the fastest growing platform with each new month witnessing widespread usage of the blockchain.
- Several successful upgrades to the protocol are attracting more DeFi platforms, DEXes, and NFT marketplaces to the blockchain in 2021.
