In a significant move, the Solana Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing decentralization, adoption, and security on the Solana network, has joined hands with DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) Crypto Centre as an ecosystem partner.
DMMC mentioned in a related announcement that it enriches DMCC’s offerings and empowers members to advance their projects using Solana, a leading blockchain platform in the crypto industry.
The integration of Solana Foundation into the DMCC Crypto Centre aligns with the organization’s mission to nurture a vibrant and supportive environment for the development and scaling of blockchain projects.
Solana, boasting a market capitalization of $8 billion and a prominent position among the top 10 crypto projects globally, is set to offer technical and business development support to DMCC Crypto Centre members.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC, mentioned Solana’s strong market presence and its potential to propel businesses to new heights.
The DMCC Crypto Centre, already a hub of crypto innovation, will now provide complimentary setup and business licensing for Solana ecosystem projects, further enhancing Dubai’s position as a global Web3 innovation hub.
Dan Albert, Executive Director of the Solana Foundation, highlighted Dubai’s conducive environment for crypto companies and expressed excitement about tapping into the vast Web3 potential in the region.
The collaboration aims to facilitate the onboarding of Crypto Centre members onto the Solana chain and introduce the existing Solana ecosystem to DMCC, fostering a conducive space for scaling operations.
As part of the partnership, Solana will establish a presence within the DMCC Crypto Centre, integrating with the vibrant ecosystem and engaging with its extensive network of technology partners, government entities, investors, and service providers.
