Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA), a global Web3 entertainment company based in Singapore, is gearing up for an exciting addition to the PlayMining GameFi platform. The company today announced that the highly anticipated game title “Rogue Roll Ruler’s” will make its debut on September 14, 2023. Developed and operated by third-party game developer Cross Games, Rogue Roll Ruler’s is set to captivate players with its innovative gameplay and integration into the growing PlayMining ecosystem.
PlayMining, the brainchild of co-founder and co-CEO Kozo Yamada, is known for its Play-and-Earn (P&E) games that allow players to earn DEAPcoin ($DEP) tokens while having fun. The platform boasts a user base of over 2.7 million and is committed to supporting game development, ensuring the highest quality gaming experience, and providing full integration with DEAPcoin, the PlayMining NFT marketplace, and the PlayMining Verse metaverse.
Rogue Roll Ruler’s: A Dungeon Adventure Unveiled
Rogue Roll Ruler’s introduces players to a dice-based digital board game set in the depths of a mysterious dungeon. The objective is simple yet thrilling: race against fellow adventurers to claim treasures scattered across the treacherous map. Players roll dice, confront menacing monsters, and navigate obstacles on their path to victory.
A unique aspect of Rogue Roll Ruler’s is the ability for players to assemble a party of adventurers represented by character NFTs. These characters can be equipped with powerful gear found within the dungeon. Some rare equipment can be converted into NFTs, allowing players to keep them for themselves or trade them on the PlayMining NFT marketplace.
Cross Games representative Yasushi Kameya emphasized the competitive nature of the game, citing limited supplies of NFTs and the element of chance introduced by dice rolls. He noted that players’ strategic choices in assembling parties and managing equipment would significantly impact their success in the game.
Earning DEP Tokens While Conquering Dungeons
In Rogue Roll Ruler’s, players have four primary ways to earn DEP tokens: by clearing dungeon stages, defeating monsters, opening treasure chests, and participating in special events. As each dungeon contains a finite number of monsters and treasure chests, players who navigate the game board with efficiency stand to reap the greatest rewards.
This release adds to PlayMining’s existing portfolio of P&E games, including JobTribes, Menya Dragon Ramen, Cookin’ Burger, Lucky Farmer, Graffiti Racer, Lost Archive +, and the trial version of their latest blockbuster, SOUL Fusers. All these games feature casual playstyles and integrate utility NFTs available on the PlayMining marketplace.
The platform’s diverse offerings extend beyond gaming, with Kamui Fujiwara Verse, a metaverse project enabling collaboration with renowned manga artist Fujiwara Kamui, and PlaysiaTV, a video streaming service featuring pro league soccer matches, documentaries, and interviews.
DEA is known for its commitment to promoting social good and innovative use of P&E gamification. The company is currently collaborating on two video games that leverage P&E incentives to address real-world labor shortages in waste management and public infrastructure maintenance.
Co-CEO Kozo Yamada highlighted the challenges faced by smaller game companies and emphasized PlayMining’s mission to create a fairer gaming ecosystem. “We offer much fairer fees on PlayMining, including on our NFT market—in fact, we’ve paid out over US$9 million in NFT royalties over the last two years. DEA is dedicated to working with our partners to build success together.”
As Rogue Roll Ruler’s joins the PlayMining lineup, gaming enthusiasts and crypto aficionados can look forward to a thrilling new addition to the Play-and-Earn universe, where adventure and rewards await at every turn.
