Daehong Communications, a marketing and advertising firm under the Lotte Group umbrella, has partnered with Aptos Foundation. This collaboration aims to leverage Aptos Mainnet, a global blockchain infrastructure, heralding the commencement of Lotte Group’s ambitious Web3 business expansion on a global scale.

The partnership underscores Daehong’s pivotal role as the nucleus of Lotte Group’s blockchain endeavors, facilitating active collaboration with various entities, including subsidiaries within the conglomerate, to propel its business ventures forward.

At the forefront of Lotte Group’s Web3 strategy, Daehong is spearheading initiatives across diverse sectors such as loyalty programs, PFP projects, and entertainment. Notably, Daehong has secured NFT Use Cases for Lotte Group subsidiaries, including the BellyGom Project, KFA Baekho Eleven, and professional golfer Choi Hye-jin, laying the groundwork for future innovative projects.

Looking ahead, Daehong envisions a landscape of diverse Web3 projects, encompassing loyalty programs aimed at fostering brand loyalty, pioneering payment services bridging physical and virtual assets in sports and entertainment, and initiatives to combat counterfeit tickets while preserving the authenticity of collectibles. Through these initiatives, Daehong aims to fortify the infrastructure and roadmap of Web3.0 projects, consolidating its partnership with Aptos Foundation.

Following the partnership with Aptos Foundation, Daehong is poised to enhance project value through global market expansion, commencing with ecosystem collaborations between the BellyGom Project and Baeho Eleven Project.

A significant aspect of this collaboration involves the integration of NFTs from the BellyGom Project onto the Aptos mainnet, enabling users to receive rewards for goods acquired within the project roadmap on the Aptos mainnet. User participation rewards will be distributed through a service named GEM.SWAP, developed in collaboration with Zeitgeist. This move not only enhances user engagement but also streamlines token exchanges within the ecosystem, fostering seamless interactions within the Web3 framework.

Moreover, Daehong’s official loyalty program for the Korea Football Association, Baekho Eleven, will be seamlessly serviced on the Aptos platform, offering enhanced accessibility and functionality. Daehong has also outlined plans to unveil a plethora of Lotte Group blockchain projects based on the Aptos mainnet in the foreseeable future.

Updated Mar. 6, 2024 at 6:52 am UTC: Correction – this is a partnership between Aptos Foundation (not Aptos Labs as mentioned earlier) and Lotte.
