Zilliqa announced today its strategic integration with Fireblocks, a leading enterprise platform for blockchain applications and digital asset management.

This collaboration unlocks a host of opportunities for Fireblocks’ extensive clientele, enabling seamless storage of ZIL tokens within the Fireblocks Vault and facilitating transactions on the Fireblocks Network. Notably, this network boasts an enterprise-grade infrastructure designed for swift digital asset transfers and dynamic payment workflows, enhancing accessibility to Zilliqa’s blockchain for enterprise customers.

What sets this integration apart is its native compatibility with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) applications, streamlining accessibility for users and bolstering support for popular wallets and developer tools. By tapping into Fireblocks’ robust infrastructure, Zilliqa aims to foster the development of powerful multi-chain applications, further enriching its ecosystem.

Fireblocks serves a diverse clientele, including financial institutions, cryptocurrency exchanges, and retail payment service providers. With a track record of facilitating over $6 trillion in digital asset transfers, Fireblocks’ endorsement of Zilliqa underscores the latter’s growing prominence in the institutional finance space.

Matt Dyer, CEO of Zilliqa, hailed the integration as a pivotal moment for the platform, emphasizing its role in granting both institutional and retail investors seamless access to Zilliqa’s high-throughput, secure blockchain network.

“By working with Fireblocks, we are opening doors for everyone from end-users to financial institutions to explore and invest in the innovative and growing list of opportunities within the Zilliqa ecosystem, further fueling its growth and development,” Dyer added.

“We are thrilled to be expanding Fireblocks’ multi-blockchain support to include Zilliqa EVM,” Stephen Richardson, Managing Director, Financial Markets at Fireblocks, said in a statement.

“Fireblocks supports over 60 blockchains and the leading token standards for Web3 and NFTs, and Zilliqa’s integration presents new opportunities for institutional collaboration that leverages the capabilities of Zilliqa’s ecosystem,” Richardson added.

The partnership between Zilliqa and Fireblocks not only strengthens Zilliqa’s presence in institutional finance but also augments its Web3 ecosystem. Furthermore, it offers significant advantages for Zilliqa’s endeavors within the luxury and entertainment sectors through Fireblocks’ Non-Custodial Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) offering, providing a secure and scalable wallet platform for corporates, fintechs, and Web3 businesses.
