Wemade, a South Korean gaming and blockchain company, has signed three MOUs for strategic partnerships with North American game developers Liithos Inc., Hit Factor Inc., and PM Champions LLC.
The agreements were made during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023 and are intended to expand the WEMIX ecosystem.
Ashfall by Liithos and Roshpit Champions 2 by PM Champions will be onboarded to WEMIX PLAY, Wemade’s blockchain game platform, while Hit Factor will disclose details of its onboarding game in the future.
Wemade is seeking to expand its game line-up and diversify genres to remain competitive. Various blockchain games are currently being serviced on the WEMIX PLAY platform, with information available on its official website.
The company is a pioneer for the mass adoption of blockchain technology in the gaming industry, with over 20 years of experience in game development and servicing.
The North American game developers praised Wemade’s expertise in blockchain technology, and noted that the strategic partnership would allow them to create groundbreaking experiences for their players around the world.
Several speeches were given by Wemade’s key members at GDC 2023 to introduce the vision of the blockchain game market and the strength of the WEMIX PLAY platform.
Wemade met with game developers from around the world at GDC 2023, held from 20th to 24th March, to discuss strategic partnerships.
The company’s CEO, Namgung Hoon, has stated that Wemade plans to expand its blockchain game ecosystem by developing games and working with other game developers.
