Israel-based web3 cybersecurity firm Sayfer integrates Tezos. Tezos Israel today announced that Sayfer will begin to provide smart contract audit for Tezos to expand the ecosystem partners available to provide Tezos technical services. They will implement their decades of experience in the high-tech, cybersecurity, and Web3 space to strengthen Tezos smart contracts.

With Web3 hacks on the rise, the Sayfer team members are experts in targeted audits and penetration tests for the Web3 market, to prevent security breaches in Web3 and blockchain projects. Their unique methodologies comply with strict international standards, including the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and Smart Contract Security Verification Standard (SCSVS).

Nir Duan, CEO of Sayfer, said:

“Tezos took blockchain innovation to the next level! Creating a faster, more secure blockchain is not an easy task but doing it will also create new decentralized organizational structures and communities is the future of the Web3 sphere.”

Tezos is a layer-1 blockchain protocol featuring on-chain governance, self-upgradability, secure smart contract development, low transaction fees, and an environmentally friendly validation system known as Liquid Proof-of-Stake. Tezos has experienced 10 seamless network upgrades over the past four years by allowing each bakery (validator) to vote on protocols.

Elie Terdjman, Founder of Tezos Israel, said:

“The Israeli tech sector is a powerhouse for cyber security, with roughly a third of the 2021 cybersecurity unicorns in the world coming from Israel. Tezos Israel is proud to support Sayfer, a strong Israeli cybersecurity company to Tezos in order to advance the security and strength of the Tezos blockchain.”

Sayfer chose to integrate Tezos to further become involved in the ecosystem and develop the chain’s security capabilities. Tezos is industry-leading, energy efficient and constantly innovating. As one of the first blockchains to adopt the proof-of-stake consensus method, Tezos has evolved into an increasingly popular alternative to several major POW-based options. Tezos has cultivated an ecosystem of thriving NFT marketplaces, dApps, tools, and games that offer a wide variety of digital assets with very attractive and affordable fees. All of these dApps can benefit from the auditing and research Sayfer hopes to accomplish.
