Vogue Singapore, the subsidiary of world renowned fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue, is all set to launch its first NFT collection.
Founded in 1892, Vogue is one of the oldest fashion firms. Based in New York City, it has a number of international offshoots that covers many topics, including fashion, beauty, culture, living, and runway. It started as a weekly newspaper in 1892, before becoming a monthly magazine years later.
The firm states that this NFT collection is inspired by its September global theme of ‘New Beginnings’, and it will be available on OpenSea from 10 November, 1pm UTC (10 November, 9pm SGT) to 13 November, 1am UTC (13 November, 9am SGT).

Norman Tan, editor-in-chief of Vogue Singapore, explained that with this NFT launch, Vogue aims to elevate storytelling and continue the dialogue between print and digital that it has championed since launch.
“We welcome readers to embark on this digitally-led journey to explore the creative possibilities. With the release of the ‘New Beginnings’ NFTs, look forward to developing and expanding this emerging platform where fashion, art and design can flourish,” states Norman Tan.

The inagural NFT drop will be the fashion and lifestyle magazine’s first NFT collection featuring digital-only Vogue covers crafted by NFT artists.
Vogue Singapore mentioned in a related blog post that the NFT collection will include its September covers ‘The RenaiXance Rising’ by The Fabricant x Shavonne Wong and ‘Triumphant Awakening’ by Chad Knight x Baëlf Design, alongside eight additional artworks from the fashion, beauty and art world by artists like Lanzavecchia + Wai and Dain Yoon.
