peaq, the layer-1 blockchain for DePIN and Machine RWAs, announces an expansion of its ecosystem as TouchBrick joins to provide a security and compliance layer for enterprise AI. TouchBrick is building AI agents called Sentinels that can be seamlessly integrated into any enterprise cloud architecture to identify and protect the most sensitive data, from patient records to user transaction histories. The Sentinels are constantly learning to adapt to the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape and guarantee regulatory compliance for AI projects working with the most sensitive data.

The AI industry is generating headlines every day, projected to soar past the $800 billion mark in 2030. However, its future growth and potential are contingent not just on investment, but also on access to data — and data is running dry as more and more AI projects struggle to get access to it. Privacy is a crucial consideration here, especially in industries that have to work with the most sensitive data, such as healthcare, finance, and retail, with a tight balance to be struck between compliance and innovation.

With its AI-powered Sentinels, TouchBrick empowers enterprises working with the most sensitive data to guarantee the highest possible data security and privacy. The AI Sentinels enable companies to securely train AI models and offer compliance with a variety of global regulation frameworks, including GDPR and other relevant laws and standards. Via the Sentinels, enterprises will also be able to make their data accessible to others without compromising the privacy of their users and clients while monetizing their repositories. The project is partnered with such industry giants as AWS and NVIDIA and graduated the Outlier Ventures DePIN Base Camp program.

As part of the integration with peaq, TouchBrick will leverage peaq IDs as the identity and authorization management standard across its network. TouchBrick would set up two Sentinel Machines on peaq’s agung testnet and outfit them with their self-sovereign peaq IDs. It would also have these machines exchange encrypted messages — the hashes of the training data uses in machine learning — via the peaq messaging protocol. Finally, TouchBrick would deploy on the peaq mainnet after testing the project on peaq’s canary network krest.

“The AI revolution doesn’t have to come at the expense of our privacy,” says Shayra Anita, CEO of TouchBrick. “The AI Sentinels will empower enterprises to handle sensitive data with the appropriate security, innovating with a peace of mind — and peaq’s Modular DePIN Functions and excellent enterprise collaborations network will be a boon for us as we bring this vision to life.”

“AI and DePIN were made for one another,” says Leonard Dorlöchter, co-founder of peaq. “TouchBrick is another proof of that, filling a crucial gap in the Web3-powered AI stack. Privacy and security are some of the most crucial concerns when it comes to the AI industry, and I am certain that this project will create a lot of value for the enterprise segment.”
