Tezos India, a prominent blockchain adoption entity, announced today its partnership with SOCIAL, the innovative neighborhood space that seamlessly blends work and play, to introduce “ART OF CODE.”

This month-long exhibition will showcase the works of over a dozen Indian artists who have utilized their creative coding skills to produce a captivating collection of digital art.

“ART OF CODE” NFT Art Exhibition

“ART OF CODE” serves as a celebration of the intersection between art and technology, offering visitors a diverse range of digital creations displayed on high-resolution screens. Located at the New BEL Road SOCIAL Cafe, patrons will have the opportunity to scan and purchase the exhibited NFT artworks from May 27 to June 27, 2023, starting at 2 PM IST.

By enabling SOCIAL’s visitors to scan the art through their mobile phones, the exhibition aims to support bespoke NFT art meticulously crafted using complex coding techniques, resulting in both static and dynamic visuals that evolve and transform with each run of the underlying code.

This exhibition promises to be a sensory feast, transporting patrons to a realm where the boundaries between art and technology blur. Each artist will bring their unique creative vision to the showcase, offering visitors an immersive experience that celebrates the cutting-edge of digital art in contemporary India.

The event will feature renowned artists in the NFT ecosystem from India and around the world, including academics and contemporary creators. Notable artists participating in the exhibition include Karthik Dondeti, Pixelkar Nitant, Beardcoded, Aranya, KALA, Varundo, and many more.

Mayank Bhatt, CEO of Impresario, said: “Art has always been a powerful medium of expression, and with the rise of NFTs, we have an incredible opportunity to empower artists like never before. At SOCIAL, we believe in nurturing creativity and providing a platform for artists to showcase their unique talents.”

“That’s why we are thrilled to announce our first-ever NFT art exhibition at our Bengaluru New BEL Road outlet—a groundbreaking event that not only embraces the digital revolution but also supports bespoke art and grassroots artists who have been the heartbeat of our creative community,” Mayank added.

“By exploring and giving our patrons a taste of the dynamic and immersive world of NFTs, we aim to revolutionize the art industry, creating new avenues for local artists to connect with their audience and ensuring their work receives the recognition and value it deserves,” Mayank said.

Varun Desai, the Head of Tezos India Arts & Culture (TIAC), expressed his excitement about the collaboration with SOCIAL and the opportunity to celebrate creative coders and their works.

He emphasized the significant transformation that has taken place in the art world due to the increasing integration of technology. Desai highlighted the prominence of Generative Art, a concept that originated in the 1950s and has now become a focal point of our society.

Through the exhibition, titled “ART OF CODE,” Desai explained that they aim to explore NFTs from both a technical and creative perspective. The event will showcase how blockchain and computational technology can elevate digital art to new heights. By merging these innovative technologies, the exhibition seeks to push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of digital art and provide a platform for talented Indian artists to showcase their works.

SOCIAL New BEL Road, situated in Bengaluru, is India’s first full-time physical NFT Cafe. It combines art, technology, and music to create a vibrant space of futuristic offerings—a place where an NFT gallery meets the enchanting ambiance of an open-air music festival. This establishment harnesses the power of technology to nurture a sub-culture where artists, creators, and entrepreneurs can thrive.

The “ART OF CODE” exhibition promises to captivate audiences with its fusion of art and technology, elevating the role of NFTs and creative coding in the contemporary art scene. Visitors can look forward to an immersive experience that pushes the boundaries of digital art, all while supporting and appreciating the talent of Indian artists in this dynamic and ever-evolving field.
