Tezos India has formed a strategic partnership with Tweed to revolutionize the user experience and accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology, particularly on the Tezos network. The collaboration aims to deploy self-custodial wallets effortlessly, enhance payment functionalities, and attract mainstream users to the Tezos ecosystem.

Tezos India has announced a strategic partnership with Tweed, a provider of compliant and plug-and-play Software Development Kits (SDKs) for self-custodial wallets. The collaboration aims to enhance the user experience and drive mainstream adoption of blockchain technology, specifically on the Tezos network.

Tweed’s white-label SDK includes key management, wallet features, and a secure payment layer. Through this partnership, Tweed will assist platforms and brands in deploying self-custodial wallets for their users, removing the regulatory complexities associated with custody.

The transparent nature of Tweed’s solution, along with easy onboarding via social logins, will facilitate the transition of users from Web2 to the Tezos ecosystem, ensuring smooth experiences that boost overall platform activity.

Tweed’s payment functionalities include credit card-to-NFT purchases, providing a seamless payment experience for mainstream users and individuals from different blockchain networks.

With backing from venture capital firm Accel and operating from Tel Aviv and New York, Tweed has already gained traction in the Tezos ecosystem as the sole provider of white-label wallet-as-a-service. Additionally, Tweed’s focus on enhancing user experience and security has resulted in the development of Tezos-specific features like wallet auto-reveal, addressing potential user experience challenges during NFT drops.

Tezos India’s President, Om Malviya, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that they aim to bring the power of self-custodial wallets to mainstream users.

The alignment of Tweed’s technology and commitment to user experience with Tezos India’s vision of widespread blockchain adoption makes this collaboration significant. Together, they aim to offer a seamless and secure platform for individuals and brands to leverage the potential of Tezos.

Michelle Latzer, Cofounder & CEO of Tweed, expressed delight in collaborating with Tezos India to further expand the reach of self-custodial wallets.

The Tezos network attracts high-quality projects, including Web2 brands targeting mainstream users who require a white-label experience that reflects their brand. This aligns with Tweed’s core value proposition of security, compliance, and user experience, which they believe will attract more Web2 and Web3 users from other blockchain networks to the Tezos ecosystem.
