Switchboard, a decentralized oracle provider, has unveiled Switchboard On-Demand on Sui, marking a milestone as the first real-time, customizable, and permissionless oracle aggregator on the Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform.

The integration leverages Sui’s parallelized transaction model to provide high-speed, scalable data solutions for developers and end-users.

By aggregating data from multiple sources—including Chainlink, Pyth, and Switchboard itself—into a unified feed, Switchboard On-Demand offers developers the flexibility to tailor data to their application needs. This synergy is expected to boost the efficiency of data delivery on Sui, enabling real-time processing for applications in DeFi, gaming, and beyond.

“Switchboard was one of the earlier oracles to deploy on Sui, and our partnership deepens with this integration,” said Chris Hermida, Co-founder of Switchboard. “We’re enabling developers to create highly responsive applications by providing customizable, secure, and low-latency data solutions.”

Switchboard On-Demand also sets itself apart as the first permissionless oracle on Sui, granting developers full control over data parameters and source selection. This flexibility enhances application performance while reducing costs, offering end-users faster and more immersive experiences.

Jameel Khalfan, Head of Ecosystem Development at the Sui Foundation, highlighted the broader impact: “Switchboard On-Demand’s launch on Sui brings immense value to developers and the ecosystem, facilitating real-time, reliable data for a wide range of applications.”

The launch comes as Sui continues its rapid growth, with over $1 billion in total value locked (TVL) and increasing adoption across DeFi and Web3 gaming. By integrating with Sui, Switchboard reinforces its commitment to enabling data-driven innovation in the blockchain space.
