Crowdfunding campaigns continue to pose a great risk for investors, by acting as a fertile ground for possible scams and frauds. Just last week, US authorities warned the public about possible scammers trying to take advantage of good samaritans wanting to donate money to the victims of the Highland Park shooting.

SeedOn, a blockchain-based crowdfunding platform, now officially onboards crowdfunding projects and helps connect them with investors in a safer and more transparent way. SeedOn’s platform protects investors from possible scams and fraudulent projects with the help of AI and a smart escrow model. Projects looking to raise money on SeedOn undergo a three-step verification procedure before they are approved to make sure they are real and legitimate.

SeedOn not only protects investors, but also project creators. The company now offers a new layer of protection for project owners by requiring investors to sign an NDA, which protects intellectual property by only allowing registered investors access to the project’s sensitive information.

Constantin-Claudiu Minea, Co-founder and CEO of SeedOn, said:

“We are currently vetting a handful of projects for our platform, and we are excited to onboard innovative Web3.0 projects and start the process of transforming the crowdfunding industry. Equity crowdfunding provides great value for both investor and project creator, but transparency and security are a necessity. This is exactly why we built our solution on blockchain and developed our smart contract escrow model.”
