Singapore-Based crypto staking provider RockX has been recognized by leading staking research platform Staking Rewards as a Verified Staking Provider.

In order to join the Verified Provider Programme, RockX has undertaken a series of due diligence assessments evaluating its four operational areas: reliability, security, accountability, and liability. The recognition from Staking Rewards serves as a testament to RockX’s commitment to bringing transparency and security to crypto staking, as more investors look for safer ways to access yield opportunities in the space.

RockX mentioned in a press release shared with AlexaBlockchain that it has become a Verified Staking Provider with effect from July 20, 2022.

Offering non-custodial staking services for all major Proof-of-Stake public blockchains, RockX is one of only 22 providers globally that have applied for and successfully obtained verification. Of this total, just four are based in Asia.

Founded in 2017, Staking Rewards has become the foremost authority on research within the staking industry. Currently tracking and publicising data for 226 of the world’s largest staking providers, the organisation is well positioned to disseminate unbiased information about industry standards, protocols, and practices.

Staking providers that wish to be verified under Staking Rewards’ Verified Provider Program must undergo a series of due diligence assessments measuring four areas of operation: reliability, security, accountability, and liability.

This builds a layer of transparency between investors and staking providers, allowing the former to look beyond considerations like branding and reputation and make data-driven decisions about where and with whom to stake their crypto assets.

In April, RockX raised $6 million in Series A funding round led by Amber Group at a valuation of US$30 million.

Chen Zhuling, Chief Executive Officer, RockX, mentioned that this recognition will help them foster greater confidence among their growing client base, and among current and future collaborators across the Web 3.0 ecosystem.

After a staking provider is verified, Staking Rewards publishes a summary of its assessment process as well as a factsheet containing the most significant information crypto holders might wish to learn about the provider on their website.
