Outlier Ventures has partnered with Morgan Creek Digital to launch their first accelerator program in Latin America. The program, named LATAM Base Camp, is set to begin in September and aims to harness the burgeoning potential of Web3 startups across Latin America.
The program will provide support to selected startups, including a capital injection of up to $200K and comprehensive mentorship from industry stalwarts. As a Venture Partner, Morgan Creek Digital will play a crucial role in nurturing the startups throughout the 12-week virtual program. The initiative will provide resources in both English and local languages, Spanish and Portuguese, ensuring broad accessibility and engagement.
LATAM’s Web3 ecosystem has witnessed rapid growth and increased adoption of blockchain technologies, making it a ripe environment for such an initiative. “The LATAM region is teeming with entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, and we are excited to support and scale the next generation of Web3 tech leaders,” stated Benjamin Meyer, Chief Growth Officer at Outlier Ventures.
Applications for the LATAM Base Camp opened today, inviting startups that are at the forefront of technological and financial innovations. The program is designed to not only provide financial backing but also to offer strategic support in areas like product roadmap development, community building, and entity structuring.

The collaboration between Outlier Ventures and Morgan Creek Digital has previously facilitated the growth of several successful startups, with past LATAM alumni including Sati, Takenos, Drex and Tropykus. Notably, Capa, another LATAM alumni, recently secured $1.5 million in pre-seed funding with an investment from Morgan Creek Digital.
Outlier Ventures has planned to launch a similar accelerator program in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region later this year.
