Mysten Labs, a web3 infrastructure company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Ethos, the creators of the Ethos Wallet product, to empower developers and end-users to experience next-generation decentralized applications on Sui.

Sui is a fast, secure and accessible Layer 1 blockchain platform that uses the Move programming language to support a wide range of applications with low cost and unrivaled speed. It provides a significant advancement in blockchain technology, enabling creators and developers to build user-friendly experiences.

Through this partnership, the companies will provide unique opportunities for users to leverage the full suite of dApps on Sui using the Ethos Wallet.

The Ethos Wallet is designed to revolutionize the crypto wallet experience by providing unparalleled access to decentralized, on-chain applications that significantly enhance and scale the web3 experience.

In January, Ethos Wallet raised $4.2 million in a seed funding round led by Boldstart ventures and gumi Cryptos Capital.

Ethos offers two infrastructure options for developers building on Sui, both of which allow end-users to onboard easily and effectively.

The first option, api.ethoswallet.xyz, provides a simple RESTful API that allows developers to create wallets via mobile devices, Unity, or the web, giving them complete control over the end-user experience.

The second option, Ethos Connect, provides a wallet-connect feature for any web-based dApps and enables walletless users to connect to any given dApp and engage immediately through an email login.

With these products, end-users will have access to a more advanced wallet experience. Additionally, users will continue to have access to Ethos’ consumer-facing wallets, available as a Chrome extension, browser-based full-screen wallet explorer, or a mobile wallet that will soon be released.

The Ethos Wallet and its accompanying applications are exclusively available on Sui, leveraging the blockchain’s Move programming language, unrivaled speed, and enhanced security to grow and scale its capabilities for developers and end-users.

According to Nadia Eldeib, Co-founder and CEO at Ethos, the partnership with Mysten Labs will help them reinvent the crypto wallet experience, unlock the next generation of user-friendly applications and infrastructure for more developers, and create meaningful experiences using next-generation blockchain technology.

Adeniyi Abiodun, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Mysten, said: “We are thrilled to announce this partnership with the Ethos team, whose mission mirrors our own – to provide innovative, fortified on-chain infrastructure that significantly enhances the developer and consumer experience.”

The partnership between Mysten Labs and Ethos is set to improve the on-chain experience for the Sui community and provide an avenue for developers and end-users to enjoy the full suite of immersive applications built on Sui.
