The Hashgraph Association (THA), a non-profit championing the Hedera network’s global adoption, announced a significant grant to Metacourt AG. This collaboration has enabled the Swiss-based company to launch its DMZ Mainnet, a tokenization protocol designed to streamline the creation of non-security governance tokens and the tokenization of Real World Assets (RWAs).

The DMZ protocol, leveraging the Hedera EVM for smart contract creation, signifies a leap towards simplifying the complexities surrounding tokenization. It offers a no-code solution that is poised to transform how businesses, startups, and enterprises engage with blockchain technology, enabling them to generate governance tokens and RWAs with unprecedented ease.

Tom Krzystek, the CEO and Founder of Metacourt AG, emphasizes the protocol’s potential to bridge the gap between the traditional web (Web2) and the decentralized internet (Web3).

Given Metacourt’s rich history in developing projects within the DeFi and gaming sectors since 2019, Krzystek’s confidence in DMZ’s ability to cater not just to the Web3 space but also to traditional users underscores a broader industry trend towards integration and simplicity.

The launch of DMZ’s mainnet introduces a token launchpad that supports EVM compatibility, full automation, and secure end-to-end management—from contract creation to financial distributions and stakeholder management. This comprehensive approach to tokenization addresses critical challenges faced by the industry, including stakeholder management, automated transactions, voting mechanisms, composability, and scalability.

Furthermore, the DMZ platform’s architecture includes three modules—Entity, Council, and Guild—forming an end-to-end token management suite that supports the tokenization of DAOs and RWAs with ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens. This structure showcases an innovative approach to decentralized governance and asset management, reflecting a significant advancement in blockchain technology’s applicability and accessibility.

The collaboration between The Hashgraph Association and Metacourt AG, culminating in the launch of the DMZ Mainnet, represents a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of blockchain technology across various industries. By simplifying the tokenization process and making it more accessible to a broader audience, this partnership not only enhances the utility of the Hedera network but also positions it as a leading platform for innovation in the digital asset space.
