Liminal, a regulated digital asset custody provider known for its innovative multi-party computation (MPC) wallet infrastructure, has introduced its Vaults Android app. This release marks a significant step forward in digital asset management for Web3 enterprises, complementing the success of its iOS counterpart, the company mentioned in a press release shared with AlexaBlockchain.

The Vaults Android app offers users the ability to manage digital assets seamlessly, facilitating on-the-go transaction approvals and collaborative asset management. The app incorporates secure Multiparty Computation (MPC) technology, simplifying transaction approvals while maintaining strong security measures.

Through an added layer of authentication for each transaction, key control remains secure, making it a preferred choice for Web3 organizations. Notably, the ‘Share Shard’ feature enhances collaborative asset management, enabling secure distribution of asset shards among authorized parties. The ‘Restore Shard via Recovery Zip’ feature ensures easy recovery of shards in cases of data loss or device changes, ensuring uninterrupted access to valuable digital assets.

Dhruvil Shah, SVP of Technology at Liminal, emphasized the app’s role in providing secure on-the-go transaction approvals, meeting the needs of modern businesses and individuals in the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.

Rahil Shaikh, AVP of Product and Blockchain at Liminal, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation in digital asset management. The introduction of the Vaults Android app, Smart Consolidation feature, and support for new protocols demonstrates Liminal’s dedication to simplifying asset management complexities while maintaining security and efficiency.

Liminal introduces the Smart Consolidation feature, streamlining digital asset management by automating the consolidation of smaller balances into one address. This innovation optimizes transaction efficiency, reduces gas fees, and enhances security by moving balances above a certain threshold to cold wallets, increasing protection against potential threats.

The update also brings support for new protocols such as zkEVM, BSC, and AVAX. This enables Web3 enterprises to manage EVM-based assets on the zkEVM chain while utilizing Liminal’s Gas Fee Saver feature. With additional support for BSC and AVAX testnets, users can build and test web3 applications across multiple networks.
