What is Bloktopia?

Bloktopia is a virtual reality skyscraper with a world-class user experience. Visitors can engage in basic or advanced learning from some of the world-leading minds in the crypto industry – earn revenue, play games with friends, build networks, and much more. Bloktopia is like a shopping mall, where instead of just retail, each store has a different project, exchange, influencer, or crypto brand offering an immersive customer experience.

Metaverse Space Is Getting Hot

Metaverse generally refers to a shared virtual world where virtual land, digital art, and names can be bought and sold. The proliferation of crypto and blockchain technologies like NFTs has opened up new opportunities and revenue models for metaverse.

Last month, Facebook announced its plan to hire 10,000 ‘High-skilled’ talent from EU for its metaverse project.

Metaverse is being adopted by many firms as a future growth strategy. Recently, Binance introduced a new $1 billion Blockchain and Crypto Growth Fund which will invest in metaverse, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, among others.

In May, Realm, an NFT microverse platform, raised $2.25 million in a seed funding round. It allows creators to make customizable metaverses utilizing different technologies such as AR.

Recently, the Malaysian real estate developer Hatten Land announced that it was working on a metaverse project to promote digital tourism in the historical Malaysian city Melaka.
