  • Hive3 and UWOW3/AI aim to close the gender gap in AI and blockchain, where women currently make up only 22% and less than 5% of professionals, respectively.
  • The partnership kicks off with an immersive virtual summit offering workshops, tech demos, and networking opportunities, designed to boost participants’ skills and career prospects.
  • Attendees will receive verifiable on-chain professional credentials, which signal their expertise in Web3 and AI to potential employers and recruiters.

Hive3 and Unstoppable Women of Web3 and AI (UWOW3/AI) have announced a new initiative aimed at providing women and underrepresented groups with greater access to education, credentialing, and networking opportunities in AI and blockchain.

Despite the rapid advancements in AI and blockchain technologies, the representation of women and minority groups in these fields remains notably low. Women account for only 22% of AI professionals and less than 5% in blockchain, underscoring the continued barriers to entry for these groups in industries that are shaping the future of global technology.

Hive3, a blockchain-powered platform specializing in community development and digital credentialing, and UWOW3/AI, an initiative led by Unstoppable Domains COO Sandy Carter, have joined forces to address this disparity.

Their partnership will launch with an immersive virtual summit featuring interactive workshops, technology demonstrations, and networking events designed to equip participants with the skills and connections needed to excel in Web3 and AI.

Participants will also receive on-chain professional credentials, which can serve as verifiable indicators of their expertise to prospective employers.

This collaboration is the latest in a series of efforts by UWOW3/AI to foster diversity in tech. Launched on International Women’s Day in 2022, UWOW3/AI has built a community of over 210 corporate partners and has been active in offering masterclasses, Twitter Spaces, and in-person events designed to develop and elevate diverse talent in Web3 and AI.

The upcoming summit will feature Hive3’s blockchain-based infrastructure, providing tools for networking, education, and community management in a space designed for digital asset ownership and on-chain credentialing. The platform’s goal is to empower underrepresented professionals with the resources they need to thrive in the Web3 and AI spaces.

“Hive3’s collaboration with UWOW3/AI is a significant step forward in empowering all communities to thrive in the evolving Web3 and AI landscapes,” said Stacy Quackenbush, CEO of Hive3. “Together, we’re creating opportunities for female and underrepresented professionals to participate as leaders in these industries.”

Sandy Carter highlighted how the partnership aligns with the broader mission of inclusivity. “This partnership ensures opportunities for all, regardless of background or geography, and is a key step in creating a more inclusive future for Web3 and AI. Giving UWOW3/AI members access to Hive3 tools and networks will lead to a more inclusive, well-trained workforce, and our upcoming virtual summit is the first step toward that future.”

The joint effort reflects the growing recognition that creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce is not just a matter of social responsibility but a strategic imperative for industries with the potential to reshape the world. By leveraging blockchain-powered tools and immersive educational experiences, Hive3 and UWOW3/AI are charting a path toward a future where gender and background are no longer barriers to opportunity in AI and blockchain.
