XiaohongShu, a Chinese version of Instagram, has integrated Conflux Network as a permissionless blockchain.

  • Conflux is a Layer 1 blockchain that connects decentralized economies and is the only regulatory-compliant public blockchain in China. It uses a hybrid PoW/PoS consensus for fast, secure, and scalable transactions.
  • XiaohongShu has over 200 million active monthly users and this integration brings NFTs closer to mass adoption.
  • Xiaohongshu, also known as Little Red Book, or simply Redbook, has previous alliances with blockchains and NFTs, but this is its first integration with a permissionless network.
  • Conflux’s CTO, Ming Wu, says the integration is a step towards expanding Web3 technology into traditional industries in China.
  • The integration of a permissionless blockchain by a large-scale company like Little Red Book further solidifies China’s pro-NFT position and may encourage other local companies to consider blockchain integration. The first Conflux NFT supported by Little Red Book is from the Mimic Shhans community.
