As a Technical Analyst & Project Lead, Adrian will focus on IOTA adoption in the Automotive & Mobility industries

Germany, May 8, 2021 /AlexaBlockchain/ – Former Bosch data architect Adrian Grassl has joined the Market Adoption team at IOTA Foundation as a Technical Analyst & Project Lead. Adrian will focus on IOTA adoption in the Automotive & Mobility industries.

Who is Adrian Grassl?

Adrian has graduated with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. For the past years he’s been with the Robert Bosch GmbH at a manufacturing plant for driver assistance systems. During this time, he entered the world of Industry 4.0 and helped to develop a cloud-based data platform for data analytics purposes.

Commenting on his new role at IOTA, Adrian Grassl said:

“During my time at Bosch I was drawn further and further into the world of connected machines and the high value of their data. I was able to collect some first-hand manufacturing experience, before I joined the Industry 4.0 department, which is there to provide the manufacturing areas with software and data analysis, in order to optimize their processes and production performance. Within the team, I took the bridging role between software developers and customers (mostly internal manufacturing areas). Knowing the features and capabilities of the departments’ products on one hand and the customers’ needs on the other, was key in deriving solutions together with customers and consulting them on their utilization.”

“As the IOTA protocol, step by step, moves towards production readiness, I’m convinced that this bridging function will become increasingly important. I’m looking forward to supporting IOTA and integrating use cases on top of the Tangle, together with our partners.”
