Unstoppable Domains and Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced the results of one of the largest-ever global hackathons. The virtual event, hosted on Devpost.com, attracted a record-breaking 1,162 participants from around the world.

Unstoppable Domains partnered with AWS to create a unique environment for developers to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital landscape. The hackathon harnessed AWS’s robust cloud computing capabilities and Unstoppable Domains’ cutting-edge blockchain-based digital identity solutions, culminating in an impressive array of 55 project submissions.

“It’s amazing to see the level of innovation coming from our participants and the overwhelming interest the hackathon brought. It’s a testament to the power of AI and Web3 that so many developers are interested in exploring this intersection of technology,” said Sandy Carter, COO of Unstoppable Domains. “The creativity and dedication of the developers in this hackathon was truly inspiring.”

Participants leveraged AWS’s artificial intelligence stack, the UD Resolution API, and the UD Partner API to enhance the utility of Web3 domains and AWS cloud services. The event culminated in a substantial prize pool of $187,000, awarded across three key categories: AI-Driven Tooling, Resolution & User Experience, and Digital Identity.
