Tools for Humanity (TFH), the organization driving the development of the World Network, has appointed Nick Pickles as its Chief Policy Officer, marking a significant step in its global policy and regulatory strategy.
Pickles, who previously served as Vice President of Global Affairs at X (formerly Twitter), will report directly to TFH Co-founder and CEO Alex Blania.

Notably, Pickles has crucial experience in representing X in negotiations with regulators and heads of state worldwide.
His expertise is expected to help the company navigate complex policy environments, address privacy concerns, and ensure compliance with international data protection standards.
Pickles is tasked with engaging regional policymakers across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas to expand the World Network’s footprint. His expertise will bolster the organization’s efforts to address pressing policy issues as it pioneers innovations like World ID 3.0, a biometric verification system designed to combat deepfakes and enhance privacy for over 7 million verified users.
