Web3 Game Publisher MON Protocol today announced the upcoming listing of its MON token on major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Bybit, Backpack Exchange, BingX, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, and MEXC.
The announcement marks a critical milestone for the protocol, promising enhanced accessibility and visibility for the token. Each exchange will independently detail their specific mechanics and schedules for the token launch in the coming days.
The MON token functions as the central ecosystem token for MON Protocol.
MON Protocol has achieved substantial following, comprising over 1 million web3-savvy gamers and enthusiasts. This community-centric model has not only garnered a loyal user base but also positioned MON Protocol as a chain-agnostic publisher.
It has successfully launched various web3 games across multiple platforms such as Base, Immutable, and Mantle.
Since its inception in February 2024, prominent gaming chains like Aptos, Immutable, and Solana have endorsed MON Protocol.
Pixelmon, as the inaugural IP to be published through MON Protocol, incorporates the MON token across its expanding range of games.
The first game under this IP, PixelPals, attracted around half a million players within just two months of its release. Looking ahead, the protocol plans to launch the eagerly awaited real-time monster battler Warriors of Nova Thera and the expansive RPG Hunting Grounds in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Both games are anticipated to further validate and strengthen the utility and reach of the MON token within the gaming community.
MON Protocol’s influence extends beyond its own game developments, with over 60 different partners tied to its ecosystem. These partners range from other web3 games and game studios to broader ecosystems and trading platforms.
Token holders who choose to stake their MON tokens can look forward to rewards issued by these various partners upon their respective launches. This not only enhances the token’s utility but also solidifies its value proposition to both current and prospective stakeholders.
