Immutable and Polygon Labs have teamed up to launch a new “Gaming on Polygon” hub within Immutable Play.
The hub will serve as a central destination for Polygon-based titles, introducing curated experiences that reward players and strengthen community loyalty. Unlike previous onboarding strategies where Immutable signed games individually, the new approach enables multiple projects to go live together, creating a stronger network effect.
At launch, the Polygon hub will feature five new games, community quests, a leaderboard, and a $100,000 reward pool to increase engagement.
The initiative also positions Immutable Play as a key driver of liquidity and retention in the Web3 gaming sector.
Robbie Ferguson, Co-founder and President of Immutable, framed the move as “the next chapter for Immutable Play”. “By working with Polygon to bring entire ecosystems of games to Play at once, we’re accelerating the growth of Web3 gaming and delivering more value to players than ever before,” he said.
The collaboration comes ahead of Immutable Chain’s upcoming connection to Polygon’s Agglayer, which will unify liquidity across the ecosystem. This shift is expected to reduce fragmentation and give developers and players access to a broader gaming network.
Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron said the alignment highlights a long-standing partnership. “The Agglayer provides unified liquidity and seamless interoperability, giving developers and players confidence their games and assets can thrive at scale,” Boiron said.
Immutable already boasts more than 250,000 monthly active users, $40 million in total value locked, and 5.5 million sign-ups for its Passport wallet system. The addition of Polygon’s scale and developer community could further cement its position as one of the leading blockchain gaming ecosystems.
