Huobi, a virtual asset trading platform, has announced the launch of Phase I of the Huobi Mars Program, marking its entry into space exploration. The company aims to become the leading cryptocurrency exchange for space exploration and has expressed its aspiration to explore the universe. Justin Sun, a member of Huobi Advisory Board, stated that Huobi will join hands with its users to embark on a special journey to explore the unknown.
The first phase of the Huobi Mars Program will take place from June 2023 to June 2024 and will consist of 12 rounds. Each round will include themed activities where participants must complete specified tasks and mint space-themed NFTs.
One lucky user will be selected as a monthly reward winner in each round and shortlisted as a candidate for space travel with Justin Sun in the second phase. The final passenger for space travel will be determined based on factors such as physical fitness, training, community contribution, and more. The scheduled space flight will take place after July 2024.
The first round of the program will run from June 14 to July 5, 2023. Participants will need to complete various trading and transaction activities on the Huobi platform to earn chances to mint space NFTs.
The NFTs will be issued on the TRON Network and can be traded on different NFT platforms. Users must link their TRON addresses on the event page to receive the minted NFTs. The daily allocation of NFT mints is limited, and users are advised to mint their NFTs as soon as possible. The results of the first round will be announced on July 20, 2023.
Each month, one lucky user will be chosen to receive a generous monthly award and be shortlisted as a candidate space passenger. The space flight will be livestreamed, and the candidate with the winning NFT number will be selected.
Huobi will verify the winner’s identity through their TRON address, UID, KYC verification, and other criteria. The winning space NFTs cannot be transferred, and any such transfer will result in forfeiture of the reward.
Users shortlisted during the first round will not only qualify as space passenger candidates but also receive a 180-day exemption from spot trading fees on Huobi. The Mars Program aims to inspire more interest and passion in space travel, promote commercial spaceflight, and demonstrate Huobi’s commitment to innovation, exploration, and financial strength.
