Healthcare Triangle launches a new plug-and-play Blockchain solution – Blockedge.
It gives healthcare and life sciences companies a platform that provides easy access to blockchain capabilities without the need for significant investment in infrastructure or staff.
Blockedge, helps pharmaceutical companies bring drugs to market faster, at lower cost, manage supply chain processes and comply with the DSCSA regulations.
Healthcare Triangle has developed Blockedge in partnership with blockedge.io, a leading blockchain transformation provider.
Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) makes it mandatory for pharmaceutical companies to track, produce, and dispense drugs from raw materials. The DSCSA Act would also require supply chain leaders to adopt an “interoperable system” to track drugs across the supply chain. As per the recently released PDG paper, partners will require robust systems before the implementation date.
Blockedge integrates seamlessly with the existing IT infrastructure while ensuring hassle-free platform integration and automated network management.
There is no coding prerequisite needed to run and manage the blockchain nodes on the UI-driven platform of Blockedge. We work along with you and ensure your supply chain is DSCSA compliant.
“With Blockedge, leaders can focus on organizational goals rather than concentrating time and talent on deploying, managing and optimizing their blockchain network,” stated Healthcare Triangle CEO Suresh Venkatachari.
The business case for blockchain is compelling. Consulting firm Gartner projects that the business value generated by blockchain will reach $176 billion by 2025 and $3.1 trillion by 2030. Additionally, pharmaceutical blockchain market is projected to be worth US$25,619.6 million by 2030.
In 2020 alone, blockchain made headlines for its ability to support smarter vaccine distribution, collaborative COVID-19 research, faster drug development, and more.
In February, BurstIQ partnered with a consortium of other technology and solution providers, including TrackMy Solutions, to formalize a solution that streamlines COVID-19 mass vaccination program.
